We chose this cruise because we liked the itinerary, and we've taken three Viking River Cruises in the past, and we were very impressed with the river cruises we'd taken.
The ship was beautiful and very easy to get around. The cabin was roomy and very comfortable. The dining was fabulous - the food excellent in the regular dining, the buffet and the specialty restaurants. We typically had the same table or close to it in the evening dining room, and the wait staff were terrific! The service was great, our cabin steward was very attentive and thorough in attending the cabin.
We enjoyed the ports we visited and the shore excursions. The included shore excursions were typically pretty crowded - the buses seemed to be full and all left at the same time and returned the same time, which resulted in long lines to get back on the ship. This was about the only down side to the cruise.
The cabin was wonderful - very roomy and plenty of storage and closet space. The veranda was great as well. The only issue we had was the coffee maker was in a very difficult to reach on a high shelf.
