Every aspect of the cruise would have been perfect if not for the return flights from Bergen to Seattle. We paid for business class. Viking put us on Icelandair and made us fly through Reykjavik. My wife and I would not like to experience that again. Viking should avoid using Icelandair on transatlantic flights. For transatlantic flights, business class seats must be able to fully lay-flat. Afterall, Viking is a six-star cruise line!

Embarkation at Greenwich Pier was a little hectic. The lines at the pier waiting to board different vessels were confusing. But at the end it worked out okay.

Services in all aspects met or exceeded our expectations. Food was excellent. We dined at all venues and each had its own atmosphere and personality. Loved the king crab legs at the World Cafe. Went shopping with the chef and enjoyed a delightful market-to-table dinner afterwards at the Chef Table.

Cabin Review

Cabin Explorer Suite

Our cabin was quite spacious. However, the funiture arrangement was somewhat unfriendly. We kept walking into tables and chairs. The seating arrangement does not give a direct view of the large screen TV. Suggest a make-over with an interior designer. Services exceeeded all our expectations!
