We had a terrific Experience on our Viking Grand European River Cruise, so we decidied on the Western Med Ocean Cruise to experience that area for the first time. We had wonderful experiences onboard and on our tours. We had terrific local guides who spoke suspect English and would be able to go back to the villages each afternoon for more. Our tour director, Drew, was talented, professional and personable. He even performed in the ensembles in the evening shows. The restaurants offered a choice of fine dining and convenient quality food in the World Cafe. It’s always nice that Viking have the beer and wine included with your meals. The entire staff were friendly and professional,and always striving to please. The best part of the Ocean Cruise is having the great access to your daily destinations without having to pack and unpack your luggage’s. The itenarary that Viking set on this trip was fabulous, allowing for maximizing our interest in the beautiful Med. villages and iconic Renaissance City’s we toured. Highly recommend that one does an extension in Rome as we did, and wish we would have started our trip early in Barcelona before we embarked.
