We chose this river cruise because I like ocean cruises and my husband does not. After this Viking River cruise, my husband is totally in love with Viking and river cruises! We went with our two grown children, 24 and 28 and they had a great time also. We have no complaints as everything was great from the ship to the activities to the excursions. I must point out the food and the staff on our ship were excellent! We felt like old friends from the moment we stepped on the ship and almost cried when we had to leave. The only complaint (if you can call it that) is we felt were burning the candle at both ends as were up late every night singing and dancing and yes drinking, till at least midnight with new friends we met on the ship and then we had to be up early for each excursion the next morning. I actually missed one that my husband and kids did go on as I had too much the night before. I guess complaining about having too much fun really isn't a complaint. We are looking for our next Viking River cruise as we speak.
