We chose this cruise as the Amazon was on our bucket list. After such a fabulous experience with Viking in 2017 (Viking Homelands), we decided to see if Viking traveled to the Amazon. We were so excited to learn they did, then were even more excited about all of the other ports we would be visiting. This is truly the way to travel. Unpack once, then travel, eat, enjoy the pool, massages, entertainment, go on excursions, or spend the day doing nothing, worrying about nothing, and enjoying meeting the crew and other guests from all over the world. The dining options can’t be beat, and one of our favorite waiters from the 2017 cruise was on this one, too. His name is Asep, and he made us feel so special and was so attentive with us every single day. I love that the Captain, the Entertainers, and many of the staff and crew interact with the guests. Everyone is so personable. The excursions were amazing, and we learned so much.
