We chose this cruise because of the amazing itinerary (Jamaica,Grand Cayman,Mexico and Cuba out of Miami) and the price was fairly good. We were a family of four although our "children" are adults. We sailed with the fantastica experience in a ocean view cabin that included 12 drink coupons. This cruise left on New Years eve and was pretty full, so we knew right away that there would be a lot of people on a fairly small ship. That being said, the only time we really felt the overcrowding was in the buffet, where it was difficult to find a seat and in the ports, where the excursions would take upwards of an hour or two to get off the ship and actually onto a bus.

We had never sailed MSC but we have cruised 15 times on 6 other lines so we were confident that we could traverse this cruise line as well. There were both things that we enjoyed and things we didn't and I will share with you our experience.

Embarkation: Although they asked us to embark at 4:10pm, we chose to arrive at the port at 1:00 pm. We chose a very popular time and waited about an hour to get on the ship. As we were entering the ship, the people showing up at 2:00 really didn't have a line at all, so next time I will show up a little later.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin O2

it was fairly average with a small bathroom with a shower curtain that sticks to you while showering, a closet, and a safe behind the mirror.
