We chose the Vista because of it's itinerary and the description of the ship itself. It all sounded soo wonderful. The staff were generally great, but you could see the strain they were under, even though they tried. There were just TOO many people everywhere, and yes the ship was beautiful, but we felt like trapped sardines. There were such LONG lines for ANYTHING: from food lineups, to counter lineups, to pizza lineups, even to access the only ONE working machine to check your Cruise Folio. And my husband and I were extremely sickened to our stomachs at the condition of each and every pool/hot tub that we tried to go to. The water in it was cloudy and filthy with scum floating around. I couldn't even bring myself to dip my feet in there. How can the staff not change the pool water? I imagine maybe they did, but there were just SO MANY bodies in there all the time, that perhaps it was a losing battle to keep the water clean. I have never been on a ship with such disgusting pool conditions...and my husband and I have been on various other cruise lines.

Our Cabin 8282 was perfect for the two of us, and our cabin steward was very friendly and did an amazing job as always in providing everything we needed. No complaints there at all!

My ONLY best encounters were the late night comedy club, the fantastic shows, and some of the restaurants (food was pretty good!), and FOR SURE the fantastic staff in the EFFY shop onboard! The comedy club had some very talented comedians and we have never laughed so hard and had so much fun with comedy shows before! Great work on getting these superb shows Carnival. Read more
