Not really impressed with MSC Opera, so I would not recommend it to any of my friends.

“Anytime Dining” means 8.30pm – any other time seemed to be an inconvenience (fortunately we were not assigned to one of the two sittings for evening meals – 15 minutes late and you are turned away).

Average staff member was good, but the more senior ones have the poorest customer facing skills. Best avoid the Maitre d’ and his second-in-command in the fifth deck restaurant who both have severe attitude problems towards their customers.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B2

The balcony cabins seem to creak when the boat is in motion. Toilet flush was intermittent.

Useful if kettles were allowed in the cabins.
