First cruise with NCL, spoilt initially by our door keycard not working twice, which meant three trips down to customer services and long queues. This was very frustrating having been up since 4am and spent several hours travelling, to not be able to access our cabin. A maintenance man had to be called to rectify the problem with the door lock.
The cabin, booked for 3 adults, was only set up for 2. Having paid over £2k each, this was unacceptable and we had to find a room steward to get this sorted out.
The tiles in the toilet needed a good scrub.
Tired, cramped and no soundproof plus toilets did not flush for 4 consecutive mornings.
Coffee machine a bit hit and miss. Made one cup at a time and the plug had to be pullled out and pushed in again to get it to work for cup 2 and 3.
Hook hanging out of the wall.
Bathroom a reasonable size and shower hot and powerful with a sliding door (not a curtain)
Beds and pillows very comfortable.
Taking in the Hamman Mosque, from outside only plus a couple of villages. There is a lot of walking over cobbled streets and steep inclines which may be prohibitive for those with mobility issues. This was a cruise tour, expensive as all cruise tours are, but the guide was informative and the coach comfortable. The stops werent particularly spectacular and the final stop felt like his relatives shop (it might not have been). Would have been preferable to have had time to shop in a medina.
We walked around the main shopping area which was typically touristy but had some nice shops and cafes.
Pleasant walk around, interesting buildings and architecture, cafes and shops.
Away from the main touristy boulevard and harbour, the town is a little shabby and not on a par with Malaga.
