this ship looked amazing to us when we picked it, and it was. Our room was awesome and spacious, the shows, entertainment and performances were top notch. Burn the Floor and Cirque Dreams and Steam were both better than any Vegas show i've seen. There was always a ton to do, lots of exciting activities and the Cruise Director and Assistant Cruise Director were a lot of fun and always had a ton of energy. This was

The downfalls of this cruise were that the buffet is a scary place. It felt like you should have football pads on to go to the buffet. It was a war zone to say the least. It was like the entire population of the cruise was crammed into one space, and sometimes the organizers would shut down one whole side of the buffet, which made the space to maneuver even smaller. They need to have a second buffet running at the same time or something. It shouldn't feel like third world country who are starving, running to get into the emergency supplies that were dropped by airplane.

Also, the smoking was a real problem for us. I am allergic to smoke and i have asthma. My health problems are not anyone else's fault, nor are they anyone else's problem, but it's not fair that smokers have more rights than non-smokers, to shove cancer sticks and secondhand smoke in our faces. Many of the public areas were also smoking areas, so if you want to enjoy those areas, you have to be willing to inhale some cancer clouds. This definitely takes away from the value of my vacation.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BC

Cabin was nice and spacious. Bed was comfy. Balcony was small, but that's expected on a cruise ship, it was still nice. I really like all the shelf space in the bathroom for our toiletries. Also, there was a bunch of space under bed to get our suitcases out of the way. I purposely chose the room at the very end of the hallway to avoid too much foot traffic, and i really loved the location. It often required a lot of walking, being all the way at the end, but i liked that about it too. We were on 14, and we had a much larger overhang on our room, which provided a lot more shade for us than other balconies, bc sometimes it was smoltering out there, so shade was nice, and the two times when it rained, we couldn't feel it at all, but the balconies below were getting wet. A word of caution, we were the last regular room on the back of the boat, and even though i loved our room and location, we were two floors below Spice H20, and LOUD MUSIC and BASS bumped through the night, sometimes as late as 2:30 in the morning. you could hear it less when you closed and locked your door, but sometimes certain songs, you couldn't keep the noise out. On New Year's Eve, the music was rattling our room until 3:00 am. I CANNOT sleep when there's music with bass, so this was a little annoying, but that didn't ruin my vacation.

I was very unhappy that someone below us smoked on their balcony all the time and often ruined our balcony experience. We often would have to go in our room, and even sometimes close our balcony door bc our room would start to smell like smoke.
