We chose this cruise due to port proximity and cruise length. We live in North VA.
The Grandeur seemed to rock and sway more than previous ships we have cruised, the weather did not seem bad enough most of the time to cause the extreme rocking. The Grandeur staff was friendly, other than the French lady at the excursion desk, she seemed to be tired and irritated every time we spoke to her, but she still took care of us every time.
Parking: Baltimore cruise terminal was awesome! Easy to find and reasonably priced at $15 a day. There was a lot of friendly help to get u around to where we needed to go.
Great crew and very old ship. Four of us stayed in cabin 7046. The cabin was big enough, quiet, and had enough storage for the four of us. On the negative side, the bathroom stunk of sewage on and off and was very stinky. This ship is definitely showing its age with dirty bathroom walls, and stinky spaces. The balcony was clean with two chairs, but did not have any foot stools.
We went to the beach next to the pier, it was great to lay around and do light snorkeling for free.
Too much harassment from locals, poor facilities and amenities.
Weather cancellation due to rain. The port had awesome shopping right of the pier.
