We are Elite status and booked our cruise for the EDGE over a year ago, and we were with another couple. We were on the maiden voyage with three back to back cruises. First of all, we discovered no Sky Lounge for folks to get together for drinks during Captain Club hour. Ne Rendezvous Lounge, no card room and no library. There is no quite space on this ship, except in your cabin. The computer lounge is out in the open with everyone walking by. The Martini Bar is in the iddle on deck 3 and the noise level is so exetremely loud, you can not carry on a normal conversation with friends unless you raise your voice. Cafe al Bacio is to be a nice quiet, relaxing area to enjoy coffee, tea and relax. You can forget that with all the noise and heavy foot traffic and people running into you. Let alone, kids playing and kicking their soccer balls in the area and no Security to stop them. Don't expect the kids parents to step in, they were down at the Martini Bar taking care of their own problems.

This ship is not designed for handicap/elderly folks with walkers. There is only one access to Martini Bar for disabled individuals. There are only ladders to use to get into the main pool and the Solarium pool. There are not steps to walk into the pools. It was not until the 3rd cruise out, that after numerous guests complaints that they finally installed the chair lift for the hot tub in the Solarium. The oh so great CEO of Celebrity did not want the chair installed at any of the pools...it did not fit into her decor of the area. We were informed that the CEO had the lift chairs removed when they left port in France heading to Ft. Lauderdale. Drainage around the Solarium pool is dangerous and very slippery for water just sits there and can not head to the drain.

There is no place on the EDGE to sit, relax, read a book or listen to easy music by performers. Eden area is nice during the day only with great lunches, soups and desserts. There is not enough tables to sit at and the chairs by the little tiny tables are very uncomfortable. So you have to eat with your plates in your lap. But at night time, Eden turns into a whole different type of atmosphere. It is like walking into a horror show with lights flashing, people walking around in bizarre costumes and acting like they are on LSD. There is some type of mist in the air which smells like burning wood and makes your eyes water. To enter Eden, you must first enter through a a dark pass thru with mirrors on all the walls and pass and move thru a series of horizontal metal tubes that are in the weirdest shapes. This is a waste of space, where nice chairs, sofa(s) and tables could be placed to relax. Entertainment on this ship was terrible....the music, themes, performance. We walked out during the first show Purpose where all the singer talked about was race, womens rights, etc. You could not even understand her while she sang. Then to have a comedian that talked about sex, extreme foul language, etc, this is not how it was written up in the program. They had the same shows for all 3 cruises, no variations. The Soltices, and other class ships have far way better shows and entertainment.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class Stateroom with Veranda

Pillows not comfortable, your head sinks in them at night...no support. To many decorative pillows, narrow walk path at end of bed and tv.
