We chose this cruise because we needed a shorter cruise over Christmas leaving from the West Coast. There are 2 choices - Carnival Imagination or Inspiration. So, not a lot of choices - do you want to leave Sunday? Or Monday?

This was once a great, new ship. Now it’s an older ship and much smaller than most ships afloat.

It does have a lot of old (I mean 90’s) charm and decor. Public Areas are more compact and the shops, lounges, casino are fairly small.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6E

Decent sized room for 2. Large picture window. Old carpet. Old bedding. Old bathroom floor & shower. Lots of room for storage. Only ONE (!) plug!!!

Port Reviews

Catalina Island (California)

Great for shopping and dining.
