If this Italian cruise line wants to penetrate US market, it has a lot to learn and improve. We selected this 11 day Panama cruise because the price was good but soon realized you get what you pay for. The service was poor everywhere except for the dining room. Waiters rarely get our order or billing correctly.. Very poor selection at the buffet and most counters closed half the time. Had really bad excursions, large groups, yet no head phones so couldn’t hear most of the time. Offered a meagre compensation for excursion from hell in Panama that was rained out but had to sit on a bus for 4 hours in a very poor part of town. We were nickel & dimed everywhere, including paying the tips on our beverage package, charged $3.00 for a dollar store poncho on a stormy day at port. They was no lobster served at all in the dining room but it was available for a very high fee. There was no variety in the entertainment and no cultural activities (lectures). There was only live entertainment in the evening, overall very boring on sea days. The best pool area (infinity pool) is dedicated to smokers. Our balcony room had limited storage and no sitting area which we are used to having. There was a significant service charge for room service so we did not have our usual coffee room service. There are no bathrobes, hair condition or bar of soap so bring your own. Overall, no pampering or luxury, just the bare necessities. Celebrity, I missed you. This bad experience made me appreciate you even more, i’ll be back soon! MSC, you’ll never see me again...
