Good food generally. Decent service. Staff friendly and attentive. Fun slides and sky ride bike. Way too many people to enjoy though.

Carnival is the problem like all money hungry large corporations. They cheap out on everything taking away from what would otherwise be a pleasant experience. Cheers program won’t let you order more than one drink at a time, treating you like an infant or a crook when you want to order two glasses of wine at a time for you and your spouse without two keycards; you will have to wait 15 mins before being permitted to get the second one. $38 American per person for steak restaurant is termed a “nominal fee” after spending some $7k usd (by the time it’s all accounted for) for the trip already. Ports are mostly industrial wastelands forcing you to pay out ridiculous charges for shore excursions.

Also bring earplugs: between doors slamming, balcony door whining and clicking all night because of wind and kids running late at night you have to have the drinks program to sleep.
