we love to go away for Christmas and New Year and the dates for this worked really well. But two of the ports were not good, 1. Martinique on Christmas Day with the majority of town closed, limited taxis and not especially nice people or many things to do and 2. Trinidad where we were warned by various websites and people that it is the most dangerous of islands with the highest crime rate so don't go anywhere past the terminal unless in a large group with a certified tour - ie pay Princess! - we didn't get off the boat. I dont understand why Princess would have this on the itinery

The ship has undergone a refurb but it is only the public spaces - the cabins are pretty shabby with bits hanging off and dirty carpets. However the new buffet and food areas near the pools are great.

the theatre shows were excellent and we would have loved to join in more of the evening quizes and game shows however the timings of the traditional dining meant that this was impossible so quite often there was nothing to do after dinner except the casino or nightclub.

Cabin Review

Oceanview

Cabin OC

Awful if you want a double bed rather than two twins as the bedside table is a double so has to go at one side leaving the other side of the bed against the wall with no access.

If the seas get rough then the noise is unbearable

Do not get this cabin !!
