Cabin Review

1. The room size overall was smaller (or more narrow) than other Celebrity cruises I’ve been on in the past. The balconies or “verandas” are extremely small.

2. I believe the heat and air conditioning only operates when the balcony door is closed and then you need to slide a little switch (mounted on the wall) into the closed door. It was very difficult to regulate the room temperature.

3. When the ship was sailing, my balcony door would not completely seal in the closed/locked position and would constantly howl and whistle. I could only sleep when the door was cracked open and then it would get hot and humid at night. It was fixed halfway through the cruise.

4. My bathroom was a terrible experience. Every time I showered, the whole bathroom floor flooded. There is a rectangular drain in the shower and another behind the toilet. They are connected because I saw the water back up and come out of the toilet drain when the shower was on. So when I get out of the shower, I am now standing in filthy water, previous bathroom cleaning chemicals, and possible urine from others missing the toilet. I told my steward on three separate occasions that the bathroom was flooding. It was never fixed. This must be a serious health hazard!
