We heard so much about Celebrity so we decided to try the Inaugural cruise of the Edge. It was a beautiful ship but you needed to have your I phone hooked up to everything to appreciate where you are and where everything is. The Captain was nowhere to be found. Not at the shows even to introduce himself You only heard from him in the morning on the PA system. No big deal being on the maiden voyage, They made no big deal about it. The shows were terrible and only one of the comedians was worth going to see. People were walking out. Our butler was invisible except for the first day. Every cruise we were on the butler was there morning, noon and night, The staff was wonderful, They tried very hard and was very impressed with them. Nothing to do on sea days. Shop only in the upscale shops and casino if that's what you like to do. The bathroom shower floods the floor everyday. I have been on Norweigen and find we had a bettertime. The Queen Mary was also better than this. If they take into consideration in improving the shows, activities and shops (eliminating some of the high end ones) we may try this again.
