Overall, Harmony is a great ship! It’s clean, beautiful and lots of fun! One would think with 6000 passengers that it would be super crowded. It’s NOT! The ship is laid out very well and has a great flow. Our favorite areas were Central Park where we ate in various specialty restaurants as well as the Park Cafe, which is free. (Good lunch spot!). We also loved the Schooner bar - trivia at times and in the evenings, the Piano Bar. The entertainment was good - Grease was fun, of course! Loved the water show (Fine Line) and the comedians were hilarious. On our cruise, they had to cancel 1887 - the Ice Skating Show as a few of the skaters got injured. We were disappointed but understood!
We have cruised on Harmony 2 times and Allure 3 times. They are basically the same ship. There is SO much more to do on Harmony compared to other ships, like Celebrity Edge, which we just sailed the week before Harmony.
We don’t love the food in the buffet or MDR, so we always buy a 5 night specialty dining package. That makes all the difference in the world to us! I’m a vegetarian, but I always find something to eat. We would sail on Harmony again! Great ship!
We had an Oceanview with Large Balcony. Not sure of the category. The large balcony was nice and we had footstools to go with our lounge chairs, too! We love a ‘regular’ balcony, especially after sailing on Celebrity Edge the prior week with their Infinite Verandah which we did NOT like at all. 8202 was in a good midship location. We prefer to be closer to the elevators but this location was fine. We like being on the 8th deck on this ship as you can walk right out to Central Park!
