We had a great time on this cruise. Ports and entertainment were excellent. Celebrity ran many extra activities and gifts for elite members and above. The food was quite good. We enjoyed the Ocean View for breakfast and lunch and Select dining for dining. Staff was very attentive to all of our needs. Entertainers wonderful and so was Mickey live! The added Tango show added to the entire feel of the ports. We did several ship excursions and were especially happy we’re took the one that took us to see the gauchos with lunch and dropped us at the airport for our late flight.Be prepared, excursions in South America are expensive. The only negative, that kept me from giving an extra star was the embarkation in Buenos Aires. The terminal was overcrowded, we had to shuttle bus quite a distance and when we got to the ship then the climb up the erector set ramp was terrible. Since we overnighted, the next day we had to repeat the ramp and bus, this time sitting in traffic over half an hour to return.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda
Cabin 1C 8248
Our cabin was clean and compact. We knew to bring magnets to post our schedule. I’m short so the above bed storage just doesn’t work for me. Our steward was efficient and our cabin was always made up by the time we returned to it. We were on the "good" side to see the Chilean glaciers so we were able to use the veranda to warm up during that part of the sailing.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

  • Train to the End of the World
The train ride was fun and the narrator gave a lot of information. The view area at the shore was very windy and cold but beautiful. The only issue was you don’t get to see the visitors center and the lake...therefore there are only porta potties...Two..for bus loads of people.
