Timing was good for this 2 week cruise, schools not out yet, Christmas holidays not started. I enjoyed the exercise we were able to get while walking the decks, climbing the stairs. There was so much food available all the time, instead of pigging out we elected to eat at the Indigo Restaurant every night. Small Portions of delicious food were served to us by friendly waiters. It was a better experience than eating in the busy Garden cafe. The gym was very nice, I had a new experience while running on the treadmill in choppy seas, swaying side to side, recruits a lot more muscles!

Every morning we had fresh coffee and continental breakfast delivered to our cabin, this is complimentary and was much appreciated. As long as one places the order card outside the cabin before 4am.

Our main focus was to see the Panama Canal and visit Cartagena and Santa Marta in Colombia. We were blown away by the cruise ship passage through the Panama canal. So happy we had our own balcony to watch it all.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

We liked our cabin. The Balcony made all the difference. We asked for the double bed to be replaced with 2 twin beds, this made all the difference for a good nights sleep, especially with different sleep cycles and rolling seas. The water in the bathroom is boiling hot, so we made sure to always have the taps and shower handle turned to cold first. There is a safe and a small coffee maker. We had a bucket of ice everyday and the room was always fresh and clean. We had an amazing Cabin Stewardess.
