We decided to take this cruise with my family of 4 and my mom and aunt for Christmas. The bartenders and servers were horrible. When you go to the bar they ignore you for 5 mintues while they talk and joke amongst themselves. The servers are only nice if they plan on giving you a customer service card to fill out. This is called gaming the system. Overall when you first board the ship there is no greeting from anyone and also when you disembark they do not say farewell either. The Garden buffet food is totally flavorless and you have to walk around for 10 min to find a seat. We went to see After Midnight, The Brat Pack, and Choir of Men. After Midnight was not good, totally directionless with no storyline, it was pretty sad. The Brat pack was Ok, halfway decent. The Choir of men was entertaining but they were so off key. We ate at The Manhattan room which was like eating Airplane food. Cagney’s steakhouse was good. The steak was not bad. The shore excursion to Stirup Cay was very disorganized to tender off the ship. We had a mini suite with a balcony which was very nice. The shower was huge and we had plenty of hot water. The Wifi is horrible and they dont tell you but you have to log off after every session otherwise your minutes keep running even though you are not using it. The final port of call was Nassau. It didn’t feel very safe there. Very run down and not much to see. I would recommend going to Atlantis instead. We felt like this cruise line nickel and dimes you for everything. This will probably be our last Norweigian cruise.
