We chose this cruise because it was an extension of one organized by a group and we decided that we should spend another two weeks on the ship. We are experienced cruisers (more than 20) and we decided that we wanted to use the ship as a luxury hotel rather than a way of seeing tourist attractions in the Caribbean.
The inside and the outside of the ship are beautiful. The traditional black hull and white superstructure and the strong and pointed bough are beautiful to look at. The ship was immaculate on the outside decks and beautifully designed on the inside.
There was not a crewmember with whom we interacted who deserved less than excellent rating.
This is the second largest cabin on the ship and it was beautiful. The veranda was wider than that on Crystal and the fact that there was one the large room gave a feeling of space. Paying for this type of room entitled us to use the Neptune Lounge and we were delighted to eat many of our lunches and snacks from its tasty selection. The team there provided all of the services that would typically be frowned at the front desk and every request was answered perfectly
The only negative about the room was the size of the stall shower. The solution was simple – use the shower associated with the bathtub. This size room entitles the user to complete laundry and dry cleaning service at no cost. While this voyage was an experiment with Holland America, it passed with flying colors and we signed up for another cruise and put a deposit down for summer 2019, and because of a well thought out program we are waiting to choose three more cruises

Wonderful for walking. Worth the time.
