Our family, a group of 12, ranging in age from 15-87, cruised from Miami - St. Thomas - Tortola - Nassau over Christmas. This was our second cruise; last year we were on the Norwegian Getaway in the wester Carribbean. We prefer Norwegian for their freestyle dining and the option to dress as casually or as formally as you would like.
We enjoyed being able to spend time together each day as a large group for either a meal or a show. We only ate at the complimentary dining options-the Garden, Savor, Taste, Manhattan, the Local or Margaritaville (breakfast only). All were very good. We also enjoyed Havanna, Jersey Boys, the comedy show and Beattle Mania. The ship offered enough variety that we could also enjoy time in smaller groups at the various game shows in the Atrium, pool, comedy shows, Jim Badger piano entertainer (District Brewhouse), etc.
Some of our group participated in a few different excursions and thoroughly enjoyed them: St. Thomas swimming with the sea lions and swimming/snorkeling at Trunk Bay on St. John's Island and our trip to Virgin Gorda and the Baths from Tortola.
The sleeping and bathroom space was just fine. Would prefer they remove the desk and provide more storage space for clothing, etc. Last year we had an outside room with a window, that would be my preference, prefer the daylight. But for the price an inside stateroom worked just fine.
