Picked the cruise for the date and port. Service is very good but the staff looks exhausted. Few activities. Activities manager is not happy with annoying customers. Missed CoCoCay due to weather. RC does not advertise how many times they miss CoCoCay which is billed as the highlight of the cruise. Nassau is not good. Blue Lagoon was not well maintained and they reserve the only good part of the beach for VIP customers. The food is bland. Freshly cooked and warm but bland. Did the bottomless mimosa brunch and galley tour. It was hit and miss. Did not care about employee of the month program and it seemed like they were stalling and filling time. Mimosas were good. The food was the same food you get at lunch ... nothing special and they don’t show the menu until you sit down so you don’t know that they are giving you less for $35 per person. The cruise industry is similar to the automobile industry ... some people get good deals and others pay full price for less. The boat cannot handle rough seas. We got tossed around too much for what little winds we went through. I do not recommend. Lobster, filet, lean steak, baked potato all cost extra. When you miss COCOCAY, you get nothing extra ... you just stay on the boat. Big disappointment and loss of value when you miss the port. Old boat. Tender ports will be missed due to even the slightes storm or winds due to safety reasons. They are deceptive. Plausible Ignorance is their motto. Website is useless. Customer Service line is poorly trained. Would love to sit down with the CEO in the park cafe and share a hard as rock stale cookie and a slice of cold pizza. Ask him if it is worth $1000 per person. The comic performed at 11:30 pm on the last day of the cruise only ... too late. Missed the parade of flags because it was too crowded. Pay for room service. Pay for coke. Pay for bottled water. Ice cream tasted like cardboard. Poor value.
