Regal Princess Cruise Review by Fanny Jane
- Sail Date: December 2018
- Destination: Caribbean
The entertainment is superb. Enjoyed their shows. Recently saw the Production Show: Born to Dance which was excellent as was the Beatlemaniacs. One would think you are actually seeing the Beatles. Saw them twice and danced to their music! A.J. Clarke is a great entertainer with his singing and playing the piano.as are the DJ Jokers Wild group.
I am an Elite passenger and have sailed with Princess numerous times and will continue to do so. They have great perks to keep you returning! This particular ship had the new Ocean Medallions. One didn't need their cruise card to get in their cabin as once you approached your cabin door (carrying the Medallion or cruise card) it would unlock. All you had to do was open the door.
There were plenty of activities to keep you busy. The ports of call were very nice. Above it indicated the cruise was 14 nights, but I had no way to change this as it was a 7 night cruise that I had taken.. If someone wanted a longer cruise they could have taken the 14 nights, but I didn't have the time available to do so now.
They have a "Sea Walk" which is a glass walkway that hangs over the sea. It is a great view of the ocean below.
The Regal Princess has a huge Piazza which gives you plenty of space to engage in many activities (dancing, entertainment, etc) The ship is beautiful and being the holiday well decorated! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who likes to cruise.
