We were very anxious to see the Scandinavian countries and this proved to be an outstanding way to accomplish our dream. We loved every port of call, but Norway tops our list. What a beautiful country. The ship is just beautiful...and kept spotless. The restaurants were excellent. We loved Mamsen's for breakfast and often lunch. The setting, decor and food are wonderful...and reflect the Norwegian heritage of the Viking family. The two specialty restaurants were grand and we enjoyed each one three times!! The Spa was another treat...especially came to love the cold/snow room and sauna. We had done two river boat cruises and loved them...but we so loved the ocean cruise we have already booked the Australia-New Zealand cruise. Another plus with Viking is the superb staff...always helpful, efficient and gracious. Our cabin, penthouse veranda was perfect...The excursions were good and like being able to pick and choose. Can't wait for our next Viking cruise!!
