Celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with our first trip to Europe and first ever river cruise! We were not disappointed with Viking Lofn! We were impressed with the genuine attention to the passengers throughout the trip! Comfortable, clean boat, nicely appointed without overblown décor. Food service was right on point and again not overly extravagant! Every meal was tasteful and pleasantly served! We enjoyed the variety of passengers we met by our various dinner table seating selections. The daily regional tours were outstanding on all counts from transportation, regional tour guides, featured activities and time allotment for exploring on own. We especially enjoyed the daytime cruise featuring spectacular views along the Rhine! Disembarkment and transportation to our next train was seamless! We appreciated the inclusive air transportation and Viking travel assistance as we prepared for our first European adventure! We will certainly consider another Viking river cruise and confidently invite family and friends to join us!
