It was a great experience, the guided tours to see Great Wall, Terra Cotta Warriors and Yangtze River 3 Gorges Dam were wonderful. The food and service onboard was very good. The hotels in different cities were 5 stars but eating food off the ship were not impressed at all. The food was the same family style at all cities/locations, for the price we paid for the tour, the offshore food quality is definitely below the Viking standard. The cabin is okay, when we onboard on the first day the room was so damp and with an unpleasant smell. My husband turned on the AC unit and it was fine when we retuned from outside. The transfers were included in our Viking tour price. When we arrived at the Shanghai airport, we were picked up by a seven passengers van with two other couples from other US cities. There was not enough room in the trunk to put all the luggage and they have to placed couple luggage in front of the sit, we felt very cramped and uncomfortable on our way to the hotel.
