  3. Viking Sea
We traveled aboard the Viking Sea on their Eastern Seaboard tour beginning in New York City with stops in Boston, Halifax, Gaspe and Saguenay, Quebec, Quebec City and Montreal where we disembarked. Through Viking, we added a five night package to Ottawa and Toronto. At each port of call, an excursion is included in the price of the cruise. Additionally, there are many other tours one can purchase depending on past experience and special interests one might have. We love Viking and this was our third ocean cruise. We have also been on three river cruises with Viking. We had the “penthouse veranda” and we loved this cabin. There is more space and it is worth the extra money. There are several restaurants to choose from with two of them—Manfredi’s and The Chef’s Table—needing reservations. There is no extra charge for the specialty restaurants. Included with lunch and dinner are wine and beer also at no additional charge. The food is very good at all of the restaurants. My husband did not like one evening meal—poached salmon. Other than that, we joyed every meal. Service is excellent on Viking ships and the vessels are spotless. We are big fans of Viking and will return in 2020 for their Australia and New Zealand itinerary.

Viking Sea does not disappoint!

Cabin Review

Cabin Sixth deck
We loved the Penthouse Veranda; a higher cost but worth it! There is more room for storage and for living in the cabin. Comfortable bed, great linens and pillows. Everything is kept very clean.
