We took our 88 yr.old mother for her first cruise and to have Christmas lunch at sea.
She really enjoyed almost everything - especially the shows and music lounges and was roaming until well after her normal bedtime.
Unfortunately, we missed out on Christmas lunch as the officers had decided to have it the day before on Christmas Eve as they do in Europe, and we, like many other disappointed passengers, were not informed of this change.Our table Maitre de in the dining room, when learning of our plight managed to'rustle up' some Xmas puddings from the meal we'd missed. Catrina was a 'gem'.

My wife and I had an inside cabin near our mother's balcony one. We were very happy with the attention and friendly attitude of both cabin staff.
