This was a new itinerary for us. Never cruised with Princess before. Reviews were all over the place. Took a chance because of the itinerary. Would not do the Crown Princess again. Ship is dated. This was a Christmas cruise and the holiday decorations were truly underwhelming. The food was excellent. Breakfast and lunch were at the Horizon Cafe and everything was great. Evening were early dining and that was switched from 5:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. just before the cruise. 5:00 is a bit too early and interferes with some of the activity times which were not changed when the dining time was changed. The evening wait staff was great. Really wanted to please. Great menu most nights. Did find some things too salty for our taste. Our cabin steward was very attentive and kept things in perfect order. Tendering to Princess Cay was very convenient. The Princess tour to St. John's from St. Thomas was great. Port visits on your own were convenient at all other ports. Easy to get on and off the ship. Much like every other cruise you might take.

This was supposed to be a "great" location and very quiet. Unfortunately, it sounded like they were rolling some heavy carts directly over us back and forth late into the night and starting early each morning. Don't know what it was. Never could figure it out.
