A friend choose this cruise. We traveled on Carnival once before but it had been awhile. Ship was nice and very clean. Buffet should have a better salad bar and more items.Other food options were very good-buritto/taco bar, hamburger bar, barbeque, and Mongolian bar. Sea day 24 hour pizza was fantastic. Drinks were wonderful. Check out cucumber sunrise in alchemy bar or Lynchburg lemonade in serenity. I cannot say enough about staff from room stewatd, main doing room, and bartenders. Mango Kings and Travis were fantastic! I would encourage carnival to focus on the talent on ships like the ones I mentioned. We do not play trivia and production shows were not that good. Not due to entertainers but whoever planned the show. After seeing Million Dollar Quartet on Norwegian it would be difficult to compare. Jim Brick was the best comedian. His R show was funny without being so gross. Donkey was a great activuties director. I would encourage carnival to hire a good musician for the piano bar. That was another area that Norwegian out shines Carnival. Ports are very good amber cove we took a cataram excursion that was great. St Thomas excursion to St John-borh through ship and very good. Went to beach in Grand Turk. Water was wonderful. Walked into San Juan. At the information you can find info on free trolley. No need for excursion. I would go on this ship again and hope that carnival will continue to hire quality entertainers.
