Hubby heard it was good so we tried it. I really hated it but he made peace with it since it was his idea. Almost impossible to get a drink within 15 minutes. Had to wait over 1/2 hour at poolbar. Could not ever get seated at O'Sheehans without a wait with a pager( 30-45 minutes) although many empty tables near the pool tables. All bars were understaffed. Only 1 bartender at casino bar at all times. No areas to just sit comfortably during the day & have a quiet drink. They have all these bars but only a few are open at any given time. We went to Headliners to see Laura Wright(amazing) one evening & the waitress took our order & our card & we never saw her again. We went to the bar after the show & my husband's card was just sitting on the bar & the bar was closed. No one in sight! He complained to guest services & they just said they were sorry. REALLY! We were stuck on that ship for 5 days because they cancelled great stirrup cay due to weather. I honestly could not wait to get off of it. Getting a lounger at Spice H20 was also impossible. We finally discovered the 18th floor after talking to some other guests but it was 2 days before the end. We heard a lot of people complaining about bar service. They give you the unlimited drink package & then make you wait sooooo long to get a drink.. We think they understaffed on purpose. The only thing we liked was the entertainment & specialty restaurants. Dreams, burn the floor & Priscilla were great!!!!! Also guest service manager, Trevor Swart, gave us a dinner an extra dinner at Cagneys & a $100 refundable credit. He was very nice & understanding. Good luck if you decide to book the epic. We've been on 5 other NCL ships & have never had a problem.
