We wanted to go to Cuba and were well aware that this was Royal's oldest and smallest ship. The age and size of the ship were no surprise. The biggest negative to me was the lack of hot water. There was no hot water prior to 7 a.m. From 7 a.m. on it was hit and miss to get a tepid (and I do mean tepid) shower with no really hot water at any time, day or night.

Embarkation and disembarkation were fantastic even though it was during the government shutdown and there were almost no immigration officers.

We had several itinerary changes on this cruise due to weather, I can't complain about that, they had our safety uppermost in mind. The captain went off course one evening to save two fishermen's lives--how cool is that?

Interior Stateroom

Cabin 6V

Definitely the shabbiest and smallest cabin we've had in over twenty cruises. Many towels were ripped. The only room we've ever had were it was so small the bed had to be against one wall, so I had to crawl over my husband to get out--bummer.
