Sail Date: Dec 2018
Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom
Traveled with children

We worried about having a 5 year old and 1 year old in the same room with us, but the overall experience was designed for families like ours! Also, I loved that we walked straight on at the time we were designated. Fastest embarkation I've ever experienced.

Cabin: There was a curtain to separate the room for naps and at night. The stateroom had a porthole and the kids beds were placed away from the door/toilets, which was a great when they went to bed, because we could look at the next days activities and use the bathroom etc. The crib was in the room upon arrival, along with a "diaper genie" to keep the smelly stuff under wraps. It seriously was the little things. The stateroom host was a very helpful and happy gentleman.

Nursery: We booked the Nursery for the 1 year old every night during dinner and the show. It was amazing. The staff take your diaper bag, will feed the kids traditional snacks or meals, whatever you allow at the time the child is dropped off. They will also feed them your own snacks. If the child is going to be staying in the Nursery past bedtime, the staff will attempt to put them to bed with whatever is needed. They also message you in the nap if the baby is a "little upset" or "upset." Cannot thank them enough. They were amazing.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin 09A

The cabin was the perfect size for a family of 4 (5 year old and 1 year old). We loved the layout, the curtain separating the two rooms and separate toilet/shower setup. I mean, perfect size for a cost-conscious cruise critic. I have been on 2 prior (without kids) and this was really good.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Walked around the shops in Nassau. Went to the Straws Market and purchased a wooden turtle for $5. Decided to walk to Grayclif Hotel and Chocolate Factory. Enjoyed the stroll (weather was ~70 degrees) and didn't need to pay any extra. Got to see a few city sights on the way up too.
