We chose this cruise for the timing, between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Although we are veteran cruisers we had never sailed RCCL. The overall cruise was good (what's not to like on a cruise?). We found the staff generally friendly and accommodating. The main dining room provided surprisingly good food with superior service from our waiter, Joel, his assistant, Igety(sp?) and Amit, our section leader. Passengers, on the other hand, were exceptionally rude and ill mannered. Why, when you have a fixed table assignment, do you need to push others out of the way to get into the MDR? We also encountered some rude behavior by staff in the spa - remember the Julia Roberts character in "Pretty Woman"? These incidents were, however, isolated and did not significantly mar our overall experience. But we did come home with a few hundred dollars that had been earmarked for the spa, but went unspent.
