Other than seeing Havana, the rest of this cruise was awful. I won't repeat what others have said about the ship (old) but it was clean.
Pros: Havana and the people who live there. Go with an open mind. Some of the service staff in the bars and restaurants provided excellent service on board.
Cons: Mostly the on board experience was bad. I have taken cruises before and knew what to expect. My main purpose was to see Cuba. The food on board was mediocre at best. Other than drinking, gambling, and shopping, there were NO activities on board. There was one lecture on sugar cane that they called a "series". Be aware, if you book a cabin on Deck 9 you are directly below the pool deck and it is very noisy day and night. Also incessant loud musak in all public rooms (mostly country western).
Old but clean. Layout was adequate. Cabin steward was very attentive and pleasant.
Could not understand tour guide. Tour guide did not provide information about sites on the tour. Tour guide did not insure group was together when off the bus.
