We like going to the Mexican Riviera as it is close to home. Would rather the volume of all entertainment be turned down instead of increasing the volume for every venue. Kids club needs alot of improvement. I would have loved to have the swimming pool heated. After a conversation with the pool hand and the engineer in charge of the pool we were told that it was a law that the pool had to be a certain temp which was set at 26 degrees celsius. If you have more that three guests in a cabin be sure to check that they have pullman beds and not a bed in between the other twin beds. The configuration should be redone to accommodate four people comfortably. The speciality dining package was not too good. Mostly fat at the Modernos. The Le Bistro doesn't offer to much of a selection. Cagney's was the best but if you don't sign up ahead of time you can forget eating before 9:00pm.

The entertainment could have been alot better if the volume had been turned down at all venues instead of cranked up to the point of wearing earplugs that still did not help. Many guests around us felt the same way and we saw crowds of people get up and walk out along with us. The kids club was awful especially when NCL advertises computer games. My two grandchildren saw only balls being tossed around and my little 6 year old got hit in the leg and that ended it for her. My 11 year old grandson refused to go as he is only interested in computer games. Much improvement needs to be done with the kids program.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Porthole Window

Cabin OG

I told the NCL consultant that I had two grandchildren that I was bringing on the cruise and I assumed he understood that we wanted a cabin with four beds. Twin beds and two pullman beds that pull down from the wall. Both my husband and I get up all during the night to use the restroom and the room steward put the extra bed in between our two twin beds causing us to have alot of difficulty trying to get out of our individual beds. We contacted guest services who were no help at all. All they could say was that is the way the extra bed goes. They sent two supervisors and they didn't help at all. We asked if the mattress could be put at the end of a twin bed but all they could say was "No". My husband and I put the mattress at the end of one of the twin beds and if fit perfectly. We were now able to get out of bed and use the bathroom without being hendered at all.
