We chose this cruise as it was the first for Royal leaving from New Orleans after years of being gone. We were excited to be back on a Royal cruise. No cruise is a bad cruise, BUT this ship was quite boring. There wasn't much to do during the day unless you gamble or during the ports go on excursions. The dining options were minimal and if you chose the dining room during sea day, they didn't have the entire dining room open. You had to wait for a long while. They are constantly trying to get you to go to the specialty dining restaurants for the up-charge. The food was not good. We were very disappointed in the quality of food and the overall dining experience. SLOW!!! The shows in the evening were not even that great. We had the Eagles experience and these singers looked like they should be called the Geritol Band!
