We enjoyed this cruise on this majestic ship. Even though there were 3500 passengers you hardly saw the same people twice.Such a roomy ship.Good ports of call. The markets at Hobart were huge and just walking distance from the ship. You needed to get to the theatre about half an hour before the show to get a good seat, but that was no bother-people watching all good and good to chat to someone new.We were so lucky with the weather on this cruise, so good to get into Milford Doubtful & Dusky sounds. Join a meet & greet so you can meet people straight away.Lots of free champagne at the shop giveaways, always fun-especially when you win.We had a deluxe big balcony on deck 16 right in front of the ship, good to see where you were going.Excellent TV in the rooms, lots of good movies. Bathroom was small, room for one, but had a really good shower, large sink and bench and room for your bathroom gear. Very quick and organised embarkation and disembarkation. The Trivia-held twice a day are a lot of fun. Pools could have been a bit warmer for us.
Good cabin level 16 right in front of the ship, Great to see where going. The obstruction was only that it wasn't glass which made it really good for drying the washing on my katmandu line-no one could see it and it was a really big deck.
Just caught the bus into Dunedin City and was able to get a yummy feed of Blue Cod
Took the Hop on hop off bus at the port for $10. Got off at the Giants House which is well worth a visit. The property is covered in huge mosiacs done over 15 years-amazing.
This is our home port so no need to take an excursion. But i recommend a walk around the mount for an hour-easy walk from the ship
We walked from the ship to the Salamander Markets-huge markets well worth a visit
