I was hoping for a great relaxing 6 day cruise to Cuba with my family but turned out really disappointed in our Cuban Cruise experience on the Empress of the Seas with Royal Caribbean in December 2018.

Our main issue resides in Royal Caribbean’s inability to properly accommodate and plan around a common storm system that lasted all of 1 day.

I want to start by saying that we certainly understand the need to plan around a storm for a safe and comfortable Caribbean cruise for passengers but the contingency plan that was enacted was completely unacceptable based on the original expectations we had for our 6 nights in Cuba Cruise with Royal Caribbean.
