After 23 cruises my son talked us into going on a Oasis size ship. He came off the Allure of the seas earlier this year. The brand new cruise terminal was Very Chaotic. It was a mess because you can't have 8 buses, cars, limos, all dropping off people and their luggage at the same time. We arrived at about 12 noon for boarding. The luggage was handled good. The RCCL personal did everything they could to still the overwhelming crowds, but it was just too much. The ship is amazing and it's a wonder that anybody can see all of it in 7 days. The is a vast amount of dining features both free and paid for by you. The Windjammer lounge tried to feed everybody all week long but with so many people trying to eat it was tough. The food was not that good but they tried. The main dining facilities was good for us and we ate well. The menu was OK but our waitstaff was terrific. We have to thank Juan & Elli for serving us fantastically on Table 221. All the shows that we signed up for were Great....Flight, Hairspray, Hiro and others. I did have a problem with the men's bathroom urinal subject matter. I didn't care for animals, and people making fun of you while you relieve yourselves. They can ditch that idea. The elevators on board were always full all the time and sometimes you had to wait for 2 or three to get on. Entertainment on board was anything you want it to be. Terrific!! The people breakdown for the Dec. 8th 2018 cruise was something like 40% Asian 20% European 30% American 10% Canadian

A little disappointing

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony
Cabin 4D 6266
Our Balcony cabin was located mid ship and very nicely appointed. The room was large with a large LCD TV over the bed. Tons of storage all around the room. His & Her closets. The bathroom was large with a beautiful shower stall and a glass door instead of those stupid curtains. The room has many computer plugins and charging outlets. The balcony was sufficient for two to 3 people.
Our Cabin Stewart was Brian, he was very attentive and made things special.
Thank you Brian
