Our Viking cruise was extremely enjoyable due in part to the many people who were on the ship. From embarking to disembarking everything went smoothly. We were greeted at the airport by friendly knowledgeable people who helped us maneuver the airport to taking us to the car which drove us to the ship. Our room was nicely appointed, quiet and near the library. The meals were delicious and featured cuisines from the countries we traveled too. We enjoyed the included ports and shore excursions and also added additional excursions. We were able to shop during our time in each city. The entertainment and activities aboard the ship added to our enjoyment of the river cruise. The entire staff could not have been nicer from the room stewards to the tour guides in the many cities we visited. This was our second Viking River Cruise, and we are looking to our next one.
The bed was very comfortable. We had a refrigerator which was stocked with water. We enjoyed looking out our window in the cabin.
We rode buses to different areas of the city to explore the Castle District.
We took the included walking tour with a very knowledgeable local guide. Also went shopping.
Vienna was our favorite city and the Schonbrunn Palace was our favorite tour. The palace was spectacular. After this tour we went shopping and sampled the famous local dessert. We also bought some chocolate.
This was the included cruise line tour, where we got to experience walking in Vienna.
We were offered a chance to go to this city, and our tour guide here was very informative with many details of the history of the city. She also suggested places to shop and eat. Very nice town.
We got to hear the massive organ play in St. Stephen's Cathedral. It was a beautiful church and one of the highlights of the trip.
Included tour with views of the city and the famous bridge.
