Let me start by saying that Miss Emma Nixon is one of the BEST CD’s around!!! We enjoyed the ship for the most part and the holiday decorations were awesome. Never took a cruise from TX and have never seen so much camo before in my life..we prefer leaving from Miami better as the people are much different. The decor was interesting and a bit cheezy! The staff seemed a bit stressed/stretched thin but worked their buns off. Not enough activities onboard and after 11 pm it was dead and we were bored. Missed Cayman and had an added day at sea which Sucked!! Not sure why we could not double back one the waters calmed and the only comp was port fees? Dining room was awesome and we loved Mirjuana our server. Debarkment was a cluster at best and the crew was kinda rude about it. The violinist and the ships band were super good! We give this trip a 7 out of 10.
Cabin Review
Interior
Cabins were in good condition and very clean. The rooms need one more outlet. How can there not be an outlet in the bathroom??? Housekeeping staff was on point and we were happy with our service until debarkation morning when our steward Ariell was extremely rude and basically told us to get out of the room. It was only 8:45 am and debarkation had just started so there was no reason for the rudeness.

Galveston seems like a cool little beach town with an awesome history.
Cozumel
Excursion was excellent and the tour guide Mr. Jorge was very knowledgeable about the Mayan history and culture. We worth the bumpy ferry boat ride to the buses.
Grand Cayman (Georgetown)
The Captain decided that we could not get off the ship because of the somewhat choppy waters even though other ships we able to tender to the island. BOO Cpt. Costi for the bad judgment call.
Ocho Rios
Great relaxing chairlift with incredible views of Ochos. The restaurant at the top was not that good but the people were lovely!!

Awesome excursion overall. Not impressed by the bus driver that took us to Dunn's River Falls...think his name was Johnny and he kept using the "N" word and we did not appreciate that at all. Had Orlando as our guide up the Falls and he was terrific. The vendors were super pushy and di not like the word "NO"!
