The cruise started off badly by taking over 3 1/2 hours to board. Missed lunch because of this.
Dinners in the specialty dining rooms were great, however the Manhattan and Taste left us feeling like we had just eaten in a bad restaurant with bad food and even worse service. Only one night at Manhattan gave us good service and her name is Linda.
I sent many meals back. One meal even tasted like it was spoiled. The Pub served frozen, greasy fish.
Guest service staff were rude and difficult to deal with. They didn’t want to deal with problems, like missing laundry and extra service charges.
They was no communication prior to sailing and when I inquired about this, I was told that everyone knows this information. Being new to NCL, I didn’t know.
The ULTIMATE BEVERAGE package is not Ultimate because it didn’t include water and coffee. We found out the hard way, after ordering water and being charged after the meal.
Other ships include waters and coffee.
We felt we were nickel and dimed the entire time.
Maintenance staff painting with toxic paint early morning. We woke to a terrible smell in our cabin yet they were wearing masks.
Cabin is not laid out right. The sink is in the bedroom. The toilet doesn’t give privacy. Bed wasn’t long enough for someone over 6 feet.
