We are a couple in our 60's. have been on 7 other cruises with NCL and RC. First time with Carnival. Pros: great embarkation, quick at Cape Canaveral. Room 1007 was BIG for inside cabin and huge bathroom. Overall service from help was great!

Cons: Food was poor at buffet, very few selections, cold and at evening meal half of the buffet was closed as if to discourage use. Very disappointed in food. Also, very strong odor of sewer in bathroom of cabin and hallways of level 10 the entire trip. Never had that problem on other lines!?! Smell never went away entire cruise. Also disappointed in lack of evening entertainment. Only 2 nights had show in main theater, other 2 evenings was bingo or other games...not really entertaining. Also different crowd, much younger and more large family groups noted than NCL or RC. In the adult only serenity area there is no pool and both hot tubs were broken entire trip. Bartender stated they would remain closed for cruise. Will not be returning to carnival. Other lines are better.
