This was the first big boat cruise for my husband, who likes the small boat (Nat Geo type) nature cruises. He loved it! The ship is beautiful with understated decor. The only problem we had was with our waiter (we started with early seating dining, but switched later to anytime). He really could not understand us. We tried two nights but decided to switch to anytime. The food was excellent, including the buffets. We went to the CrabShack (extra $$) one night and it was awesome. We saw the Elton John show (great) and a couple with the Princess orchestra, singers and dancers and they were absolutely amazing and the talent was top notch. We ordered room service multiple times, even just for coffee. I wish the room service menu had more from which to choose but that's ok. The snorkeling in Grand Cayman and Roatan was also great. We had a personal guide in Belize and he was very personable and knowledgeable. The only crowding we experienced was in the elevators- people can be so rude and stuff themselves in!!! We waited to embark around 1:30 and it was 30 minutes from the hotel to our cabin! Disembarkation was also smooth. Would definitely go on Princess again.

You could see out over the lifeboat and that was OK, but I've had unobstructed balconies before and they're way better.
