My wife and I went on Celebrity Edge with two other couples, our age range is mid-fifties to 61.
Pros;
The Staff…the service was excellent, our room steward Nelia was extremely helpful in anything we needed, always upbeat and smiling. The waiters in every restaurant we visited were welcoming and well informed of the items on the menu. Nelson on the coffee cart at the breakfast buffet with his signature “Good morning, Happy Happy” set the tone for the day (he was also our waiter at Tuscan, very personable). Even though the bartenders were busy they kept up with the demand and kept a positive attitude.
I stayed in a Stateroom with Infinite Veranda. When you first enter your room there’s a touchpad mounted outside the bathroom, you can control room temperature, lights and the veranda screen. Very user friendly after a quick lesson from your room steward (thanks Nelia). For a cruise the bathroom was very nice in size and décor, the shower was a nice size and water pressure and hot water were very good and never an issue. Nice size for a cruise ship, meaning two people are not getting ready at the same time in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and roomy. Drawer space and closet space was a little tight for an eight day cruise, but we made it work. The veranda was small especially when you close the doors behind you.
went to Royal Palms Beach Club (i think that's the name) rented a cabana, had a great day, the beach was beautiful
took a cab to shopping district, enjoyed the day, felt safe, would recommend
