We sailed on this ship last year. Same time of year. Last Year checkin went smoothly. This year not so. We are Diamond and usually have priority boarding. It’s one of the perks or always has been. It was last year. After waiting in line for well over an hour we finally got on too late for lunch buffet. Our original time for boarding was 11:30. We got an email from RC telling us not to arrive until 12:30. Apparently 6000 others got the same email. Entertainment was great. Room was great along with our outstanding stateroom attendant, Joey Barcelona. Food was mediocre at best. I think RC is cutting corners everywhere. There seemed to be less staff in all areas especially clearing tables in Windjammer and Solarium Bistro. Solarium is supposed to be over 16. I guess the rules only apply to some. There were children there every time we were there and no one said anything to them. The ship is beautiful and kept very clean. We will continue to sail with RC as most others cruises have been great. We were just disappointed with this one.

Check in was a nightmare
